PRODUCT DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times

The majority of orders are dispatched and delivered within 5 working days. Specialised products such as products sold by the pallet typically take 7 - 10 working days.

If there are any delays outside of these standard lead times we will notify you as soon as possible.

The vast majority of orders are delivered on 26 tonne lorries which are about the same size as a double-decker bus. Please contact us immediately on info@capitalbms.co.uk  if you have any access concerns for this vehicle to avoid any possible delivery issues. If you have access concerns, we can accommodate deliveries on smaller vehicles in the majority of cases.

Please ensure there is a means of offloading your order on-site (unless otherwise agreed with DESI). Always check your delivery is correct when it arrives before you unload and sign for your order. In the unlikely event that your delivery is not correct or damaged please notify us immediately by emailing info@capitalbms.co.uk  and also mark any issues on the delivery slip.

CHECKING DELIVERY TIMES and ORDER TRACKING

To check the delivery time of your order, please email info@capitalbms.co.uk and provide your order number. We will send you an estimated delivery time by email.

Please note this is just an eta only and is not an exact time, delays may occur from when an order leaves it's storage point to when it arrives to its delivery point. Capital BMS  will try to be as accurate as possible with given eta's.

If orders are returned to us by the carriage company we may make an additional delivery charge for re-dispatch.

Pickup

To pick up your order yourself, select the option during checkout: ‘Pickup from the Capital BMS store’. Pickup orders will be ready within 1.5 hours of when the order was placed. When picking up your items you need to show proof of ID.

ID confirmation

If someone else is going to pick up the goods, this must be indicated when placing the order, and they will have to show their ID when receiving the goods.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you have posted an enquiry, suppliers may include a delivery charge that varies from the values above and these will always be shown on their offer.

While we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on the date requested, we cannot guarantee the delivery dates of our suppliers.

Any change to a delivery date given at the time of purchase will be notified by email or telephone. If the supplier is unable to make a delivery because access is not possible for the vehicle specified on the order, we reserve the right to charge a failed delivery charge.

All of our delivery charges are based on an adult being available to accept the delivery. This includes, on heavier items, the ability to assist with manually or mechanically offloading items. All deliveries will be made to the kerbside of your property. Offload facilities, such as tail-lift or forklift facilities can be requested, but may include an additional charge.

Our cut-off time for orders is 2pm on working days. Orders placed after 2pm will be processed the next day. For instance, an order placed after 2pm on a Friday will be processed on the following Monday.

RESTRICTED ACCESS

Our suppliers reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery, if you have not informed either us or the supplier of any access restrictions at either the time of placing the order or 24 hours before the delivery.

Restricted access includes, but is not limited to: double yellow lines, a red route, narrow lanes, steep hills, low bridges, or width restricted roads.
